The high grade quality processed concentrate is stored at the mine site before being hauled, using a fleet of 100-tonne road trains, the 400 kilometres to Australia's largest export port of Port Hedland.

As part of a quality management system, concentrates are blended and held in PMI's storage facility in Port Hedland prior to shipment.

Qualitiy Throughout

PMI has its own laboratory on the mine site which ensures prompt and accurate quality control throughout the whole production process.

pmi uses both the site lab and independent commercial laboritories to ensure each shipment complies with the customer's request.

Shipping

PMI manganese fines are loaded and shipped from the Port Hedland Port Authority's berth number one.

The Port is extremely reliable and efficient and has a minimum load rate of 10,000 metric tonnes per day.
